Four prices in one shape
Each candle on a chart covers one period — for example one hour. Its body runs from the opening price to the closing price; thin lines above and below, called wicks, show the highest and lowest prices in that period.
On SignalVexa charts a green candle closed higher than it opened, and a red candle closed lower.
Reading them carefully
Long wicks show prices that were reached but not held. Many named candle patterns exist, but a single candle says little on its own — context, volume and the longer trend matter far more, and no pattern guarantees what happens next.
